Training Mission: To prepare every athlete for the next level of play in their respective careers.
How: Tennessee Performance prioritizes the importance of PLAYER DEVELOPMENT over TEAM DEVELOPMENT.
Club volleyball is structured and built upon the development of the youth and juniors of all ages. Parents invest their hard earned money into TPV so that their daughters can become better people and volleyball players through the experience. By focusing on individual player development, we are able to give every player the best opportunity to fully develop. In the long run, TPV teams will continue to be better and more well-rounded if all players on the team are well-skilled.
Our training environment emphasizes the learning and development of skills that are repeatable at the highest level. We are able to do this through systematic motor learning and skill development.
Our Master Coach Training ensures that ALL athletes are given the SAME technical training. All practices are structured for INTENTIONAL growth. Every athlete has a PURPOSE when they are in the gym. Master Coach Training provides EVERY player the same OPPORTUNITY and the same VALUE.
In three years, TPV has had tremendous player success. We have experienced team success but the priority is the growth and development of our athletes.
The TPV Elite program is a highly competitive program geared towards the most serious athlete who has college aspirations.
Players will train 3x a week. Practices will consist of 1x per week specific position training and 2x per week of group training, component and intra-squad competition.
This option will include strength training for all athletes.
Season Length: October - June (AAU's)
Fall Training Schedule (until 2021): All ELITE teams will train on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday
The TPV Scholastic option is a competitive program geared towards multi-sport athletes, and those who need additional support and training on technique and fundamentals.
Players will train 2x a week. Practice will consist of 1x per week group training and 1x per week of component and intra-squad competition.
Season Length: October - April

SELECT 10's: Monday, Saturday
SELECT 12's: Monday, Saturday
SELECT 13's-14's: Wednesday, Saturday
SELECT 15's-16's: Wednesday, Sunday
TPV Thanksgiving Break: November 22nd - November 28th
TPV Winter Break: December 18th - January 3rd
TPV Spring Break: March 15th - March 21st (Please note that some teams may have scheduled events on March 13/14.)
